Business Support Apprentice

We are currently recruiting for a business support apprentice within the Neighbourhoods directorate.

The Neighbourhoods Admin & Business Support team provide support for teams within the Neighbourhoods and Communities and Environment and Leisure teams, such as Trading Standards, Pollution Control, Food Safety, Libraries, Neighbourhood Partnerships, Parks, Waste, Allotments, Trees, Sports Pitches, Caretaking. This role will provide support services to all the above teams. This includes Finance work, data inputting and retrieval to and from various ICT systems.

This opportunity will allow you to learn valuable skills in the workplace whilst gaining a relevant qualification. During your 24 month contract, you will be supported in developing your employability skills and have the chance to apply for job opportunities within the council. You will receive a training allowance of £150 per week in your first year of learning, plus travel expenses within Bristol, earning the National Minimum Wage in your second year. We support all our level 2 apprentices to progress to level 3 where possible.
