Updated Board News
25/04/2023
The Restore Trust would like to wish the very best of luck to 2 of our board directors, including the Board Chair, who have retired from the board in April 2023, after serving well beyond their board terms. Our Board Chair Sally Lewis will be sadly missed, she has been an amazing staunch supporter of The Restore Trust since its inception, and all the staff at The Restore Trust wish her a very well-deserved retirement. We are fortunate that even when directors retire from the board, they are still very supportive of our mission and that is certainly the case for David Mizen who has offered to continue to support the CEO with her work at both The Restore Trust and The Key Charity. Chris Scriven will remain on the board as an executive director and will continue to lead on the amazing work of transforming lives through education and employment pathways.
We would like to formally welcome our new board members, Daniel McHugh, with extensive experience in the education sector, who will take over as Board Chair, and Sharon Nelmes, with a background in social work and safeguarding. We will also have Martin Elvy joining us with a background in education and finance. We look forward to working with the new board as we continue to grow and develop new services in the future.
