Resettlement and Social Housing Project
In addition to our training and employment support services, we pride ourselves on working on a variety of projects in our local community to reduce inequality and promote social justice and social values.
In 2015/16, The Restore Trust purchased and renovated 4 properties offering paid employment placements to ex-offenders to upskill and renovate the properties which were then utilised for social housing and resettlement.
This project was an excellent example of how social value outcomes can be achieved in terms of social, environmental and economic impact in the local community.

The project provided 5 paid employment placements and 14 units (beds) in total that has been used to provide temporary housing for homeless people and resettlement accommodation for IOM prolific offenders leaving prison.
